Club AGM will is held every year at the club
As a member of the club this is the time to raise any concerns or issues with the committee and fellow members, or possibly share a new idea for the club that you may have.
Glen McCready Brought his unique Spin class to Orangefield FC and set up 16 spin cycles in The Cregagh Sports Club Function room. He put both 1st and 2nd teams through an extensive 45 min training session, very professionally done and enjoyed by the players and coaches alike. We hope to have Glen return soon and incorporate him in our pre-season programme.
Night in the Eighties
Saturday 20th February sees the club host an evening of playback from way back, a Night in The Eighties! All your favourite ’80s tunes will be played and promises to be a good night for all. even those still claiming to be born in the ’90s.
Annual Old Crocks Match
Sat 27th seen Orangefield hold their annual old crocks match at Gibson park, It was a great day had by all who attended and good to see some old faces put their boots back on
The Community Cup first kicked off in 2007 to introduce the club to the community and also as an invite to other clubs to participate in a junior football tournament. The inaugural event was such a success that it expanded in 2008, rising from 4 teams competing in one age group, to 11 teams competing over four age groups.
Night at the Camels
Saturday the 7th March saw a good turn out at the club for the camels. There were plenty of wooden ones on show as the camels made their way up and down the floor with some able riders, some not so able! Thanks to all who came for the night and who particiapted in the racing, as well as big Micky for some dodgy compering and wee Jim for the good tunes after the races.
Disco for Junior Section fundraising was held on Saturday 14th February 2009 and was a great success, with valuable funds being raised for the Junior Section of the football club. Thanks to all those that attended and made the night a good one!
The recent Halloween Party at the club gave the club members and guests a chance to dress up and win prizes. The night was a success and enjoyed by all who attended.
The Under 13 team travelled to Enniskillen at the end of the 2007/08 season for the weekend away, which included a friendly game against Ballinamallard F.C.
Over 40 Challenge Match
This match was organised by a former player Davy Harris who was looking some practice for his colleagues before they took on a team from Denmark. Good to see all the old faces.
